Dr. Ananya Puttaraju is an Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with 15+ years of experience. He has performed more than 4000 procedures, including 500 joint arthroplasty and 500 Foot & Ankle cases. He completed his MBBS from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College (JJMMC) in 2003 and FRCS – Trauma & Orthopedic Surgery from Royal College Of Surgeons in 2013. He was selected for the prestigious MCh (Orth) in 2008 and completed 2 years of registrar training at Wrightington Hospital, UK. Furthermore, he was selected for Super Specialty Training in Foot & Ankle Surgery at Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, which is the premier orthopedic center in Scotland. His passion for teaching and training juniors led him to complete a Post Graduate degree in Clinical Education from the Royal College of Glasgow. He is an expert in managing complex foot & ankle conditions including diabetic Charcot Disease, sports injuries, arthritis, pilon fractures, and Ankle Replacement. Dr. Ananya has published and presented at various International Forum and has led various clinical governance committees and gained expertise in clinical risk management and medical audits.
